Premier Cycling Event of the Yorkshire Coast
The Scarborough Festival of Cycling weekend is packed with events to suit all, including community and families. There are closed circuit road and cyclo cross racing, sportive and “come and try” events. The venue is the Olivers Mount circuit YO11 2UG.
This is the 8th year of racing at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough. The Circuit overlooks the town from the south west. It is a public road, closed for a certain number of motorcycle events and for the last seven years, for a revived Cycling Festival, having been used previously back in the 70s & 80s. This year’s Festival also includes a lot of other events as listed below.
Sportive d’Scarborough from 10:00am – 25m or 60m with feed stop.
MTB Go Race by Richardsons CC – Registration from 10:30. Events from 11:00 – 13:00
KMX Karts – All weekend
Yorkshire Cyclo Cross Association Summer Cross Finale – U8, U14 and over 14 races from 1:00pm.
Cross or MTB bikes. Enter on day. (Features 2 spirals of doom!)
Quiz night 7:15pm till late!
Hillclimb – Scarborough Paragon Come & Try it Hillclimb 11.45am. Enter on day via their Gazebo.
Camping and caravan site is available at Olivers Mount throughout the Festival.
